It's important to be aware of these booking conditions before you make your appointment.

  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time so we can start on time. If you are late, the treatment will be shortened by the number of minutes you are late, but full payment is still required. This ensures we have enough time for the next client.
  • Please be aware of contraindications such as severe skin conditions, acute infections, fever, recent surgeries, or an increased risk of blood clots. We do not make medical diagnoses or treat specific conditions, but we need to be informed of any medical indications and medication use. If you are unsure about the safety of a massage, please consult your healthcare provider.
  • We offer treatments to support the well-being and relaxation of children, with their safety and comfort always being a priority. Although we strive to provide a relaxing and insightful experience, we are not trained to make or treat medical or psychological diagnoses. For this, we will always refer the child to a specialist.
  • We expect all our clients to exhibit respectful behavior towards our therapists. Inappropriate behavior is not tolerated during our treatments. In return, we respect the privacy of our clients and adhere to professional and caring treatment standards. Our therapists will always cover you with towels or sheets, only exposing the parts of the body that are being massaged at that time.
  • For the health of our masseurs, we kindly ask you to cancel your appointment in a timely manner if you have contagious conditions or viruses.
  • Do you need to cancel? Please be aware of the cancellation fees through our booking system. Cancel in time to avoid extra costs and to ensure our staff are not left unexpectedly without work.

For people with a mild mental disability to people with complex care needs, the body can be an important gateway to rest, contact and self-regulation. When communicating is difficult or stimuli arrive quickly, tension can settle in the body. Attentive touch and body-oriented work then provide support in a way that does not depend on words.

Care massage helps to reduce tension and strengthen the body feeling. In addition to massage, I work with tactility, light movement and gentle mobilization, complemented by playful forms of contact and sensory aids. Rhythm and repetition provide recognition and structure, and help people feel safer and more present in their bodies.

The support takes place in the familiar environment, such as at home, at the residential group or during daily activities, and can also take place in a snuzel room or at bed. Where necessary, I work with counselors and make use of appropriate tools so that the sessions are in line with daily care and living structure. This creates space for rest, quality of life and attention for the person in his or her individuality, beyond the disability.

‍The Massages
The massages are tailored to the person's abilities and needs, with adjustments to location and mobility. The sessions can take place in the familiar residential or care environment. Whether the person is sitting in a (roller) chair, lying on the bed, or on a massage chair or table, the massage is carefully adjusted. Together with the carer, doctor or psychologist, it will be determined which setting and degree of touch (on the skin or over clothing) is most appropriate. This creates a safe and effective session.

The Care Massage Process
The rate includes one hour for intake and administration outside the massage time. The duration and frequency of the massage are tailored to the situation. Only the actual time from arrival is charged (minimum 30 minutes) and can be adjusted flexibly.

Travel expenses
Travel time and costs are calculated depending on the distance between location and practice. Where possible, sessions can also take place in practice.

For Minima
Health care and welfare costs can be difficult for people with a smaller income. That is why there is a discount based on capacity, so that a suitable solution can be found for both the person and the masseur. Contact us to discuss the options.

Disclaimer
The massages are only performed with the approval of the healthcare institution, doctor or psychologist. They focus on relaxation, enlightenment and body awareness. The masseur makes no medical diagnoses and refers to a doctor or specialist if necessary. Specific conditions will be discussed during the introductory meeting.
